Why “Worthy Turtle”?

As a little girl she called her injured hand “turtle.” Of course, we always knew she was worthy. Eventually, she achieved the amazing goals of walking, talking and even reading … one turtle step at a time. Now, we have new goals for more understanding and opportunity for all people. It’s possible!!!
